Hey Friends! We are Keith and Jane Saunders. Read below for a glimpse into our journey.
After much prayer that God would shape our dreams into a reality, we founded LIVING WATER WELLNESS in 2017. This dream has been to help others find the health and vitality that we have been awakened to, and believe that God has in store for all of His creation. We met at Brighter Day Natural Foods in Savannah, Georgia where we both worked for many years. We fell in love, got married, and are continuing on our journey together toward our best health for His highest purpose in our lives.
Hey, I'm Keith!!
I was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, but grew-up in the Mount Washington Valley in a small town named Gorham. That area shaped a lot of who I am today; my friends and I were able to be adventurous, in the mountains, woods, and rivers right there in our backyards. We truly got to "be kids." Things that I really enjoy now a'days are: skateboarding, hiking, dips in cold mountain rivers, salty ocean swims, time with my wife, listening to quality music, getting creative in the kitchen, painting, and hanging out with my dog Tony Jaw (named after the Thai martial artist).
My faith is best defined in Matthew 7:7-8:
"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."
Though my mom raised me to understand the gospel message, she always left it up to me to decide for myself what I would believe. I spent years studying martial arts and that led me to explore Buddhism, Taoism, and other Eastern spiritual practices. Though I found they all had amazing insights into becoming a disciplined and aware person, there was something lacking. I had a sense of loneliness and confusion that I couldn't identify. It wasn't until I came to the end of myself, so to speak, that I realized my need for a Savior. I found a new sense of fulfillment in the message of Christ's gospel, and after giving my life to Jesus, have never been the same since.
I first began to take an interest in my health when I got into martial arts and working out during the end of high school. At the time, I began to see the interconnectedness of what I put in my body and my physical performance in these ventures. From that time to now, I have had many phases of being healthy, each being a successive improvement to the last. It is through these personal experiences and trials that I have come to the place I am now in my understanding of the amazing ability of the human body to heal itself and want to be well. I came to this "awakening" after many years of working in the health and wellness industry, personal exploration, and then finally coming to study under Dr. Robert Morse. It has been his enlightening and streamline approach through regenerative detoxification that has really opened my eyes to true healing. I have experienced this in my own body, as well as seen many others find wellness through this innate approach. My health journey has awakened a passion in me to help others find healing and be their healthiest selves. I am excited and feel a sense of purpose to share this knowledge with others through regenerative detoxification, as well as the spiritual component, which anchors us physically.
Keith has worked in the health and wellness industry for many years. He also has over twenty years of culinary experience in a diverse array of restaurants. In 2017, Keith attended Dr. Morse's International School of Detoxification where he became a level 1 & 2 Regenerative Detoxification Specialist. He started Loose Leaf Skateboards, a small skateboard distribution company in Savannah in 2013.
Hey, I'm Jane!
I was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. I'm an only child and a bit of an "old soul" since I spent so much time around adults growing up. Some of the things that jazz me up are: spending time outside (in the woods, at the beach, in the mountains), traveling and experiencing other cultures, world missions, dying textiles with indigo, hula hooping to live music, reading a good novel, creating a home that’s my sanctuary, and preparing delicious, fresh, living, whole foods!
The foundation of my life is my faith in Jesus Christ and the relationship He reconciled between my heavenly Father and me. Though my faith has always been an inherent part of my being, it wasn't until a few years ago that my heart was changed to want to live completely for Him. This is still a daily struggle of surrender for me. I am learning more and more what His calling for me looks like as my life and dreams grow and evolve in Him. I love that He is concerned with taking our brokenness and turning it into something glorious, like in Isaiah 61 where he says he wants to give a "beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a faint spirit."
My health journey has been a slow awakening and it's hard to pinpoint the exact place and time it started. I took a semester off in college to go on a NOLS expedition, spent 80 days in the backcountry of the Brazilian Amazon and was completely immersed in nature. It was during that time that a "lightbulb came on." This trip completely changed me, affecting the way I respected myself and creation. When I went back to school at Auburn University, I began working at Dayspring Nature Shoppe. This amazing little health food store had more of an impact on me through college than anything I learned in the classroom. It was there that I fell in love with natural healing and holistic health. After I graduated, I came home to Savannah and began working at Brighter Day Natural Foods as a supplement specialist for many years. This was the next step for me in being able to further my knowledge and experience. However, there were still some missing pieces to the puzzle of optimal health and it was evident in my own condition. I saw myself as a healthy person, but still had some chronic health issues. The natural health industry offers an amazing alternative to conventional medicine, and to a degree I've seen healing through its therapies. However, I wanted to go deeper and figure out root causes and truly heal the long term issues in my own body so that I could help others do the same. After much personal study and experience I still felt that there had to be something more. It was at this point that I found Dr. Robert Morse and learned about his approach to healing through detoxification and regeneration. His profound simplification of the human body brought everything full circle for me, and also put my faith right in the center of the path to true holistic health.
